From first interview to repeatable business

Implementation

A staged launch that proves trust, content demand and event economics before adding complexity.

Launch roadmap

Days 1–14

Foundation

Finalize identity, participant releases, separate content/community consent, intake forms, moderation policy, venue shortlist and 30 pilot interview questions.

Days 15–30

Proof of content

Film in small batches across nightlife, campus-adjacent public areas and malls. Publish 15–20 shorts. Recruit founding members privately.

Days 31–60

First connection

Publish consistently, launch Maria Says, conduct partner outreach and host a capped founding social with a camera-free zone.

Days 61–90

Repeatability

Host the first ticketed Singles Night, accept limited MatchMe consultations and evaluate retention, referrals, safety and unit economics.

Months 4–6

Commercial pilot

Build sponsor packages around verified reach, repeat the best event format and introduce one premium dating experience.

Months 7–12

Scale carefully

Add production support, expand partner venues, test recurring membership and prepare a second-city playbook only if Angeles is stable.

Weekly operating rhythm

  • Monday: select questions, confirm locations and review consent/safety issues.
  • Tuesday–Wednesday: film one controlled batch; never pressure anyone to participate.
  • Thursday: edit, fact-check captions and complete participant review requests.
  • Friday–Sunday: publish, moderate comments, recruit for events and capture performance data.

Founder roles

Jay — audience and production

Street interviewer, foreigner-perspective questions, partnerships, event hosting, production and commercial development.

Maria — trust and relationships

Filipina editorial authority, participant care, dating guidance, community screening and MatchMe by Maria.

Shared accountability

Both founders approve participant standards, removals, partner selection and any content that could affect someone’s safety, employment or reputation.

Decision gates

Day 30: Continue only if adult women participate voluntarily and content can be produced without coercive recruiting.

Day 60: Sell tickets only if the founding social is balanced, safe and well-rated.

Day 90: Invest further only if events show repeat demand and premium consultations demonstrate willingness to pay.

No app, large merchandise order or expensive venue lease during the pilot.
